Integrated Quality Management

The HART Quality Management System was appraised as fully compliant at Maturity Level 3 by the Carnegie Mellon Software Engineering Institute (SEI) under the Capability Maturity Model Integrated for Development (CMMI-DEV®), Version 1.3 (Staged) model in July of 2011.

CMMI-DEV is the standard for measuring an organization’s capability to provide a process driven approach for development of integrated products including systems, software and hardware engineering, manufacturing; logistics and project management. Achieving CMMI Level 3 is an important milestone for HART and reflects our commitment to deliver the highest quality products and services to our customers.

Our ISO9001:2008 and AS9100 compliant QMS is monitored by the British Standards Institute and will achieve full certification under the AS9100C standard in the 2nd quarter of 2012. AS9100 is a widely adopted and standardized quality management system for aerospace systems designers and manufacturers which was broadened to include Defense and Space under revision AS9100C released in 2009.
